This a limerick poem. The / represents a stressed note while the x represents an unstressed note. The numbers at the end are how many syllables there are in each line.
Limerick Poem

There was an old man from Norway, 8
/ x / x / x / x
He smashed his head on the doorway. 8
/ x / x
He then passed out, 4
/ x / x
With a faint shout, 4
/ x / x / x / x / x / x
And he woke up in the hospital of Norway. 12
